Our new gate and door entry system was finally installed today. As mentioned in a prior email, each resident will receive two fobs which gives them access to the tennis courts, playground, swimming pool, bathrooms, and storage room. Clubhouse access will be turned on for those who book the clubhouse.
We will be distributing the fobs from Tuesday to Saturday (April 12 to 16) at the Clubhouse. Please drop by at one of the following time slots:
Tuesday, April 12: 2:00 to 3:00 pm; or 5:00 to 6:00 pm
Wednesday, April 13: 2:00 to 3:00 pm
Thursday, April 14: 5:00 to 6:00 pm
Friday, April 15: 2:00 to 4:00 pm
Saturday, April 16: 10:00 to 12 noon
We are pleased to inform you that over the next two weeks we will be upgrading our entry system from keypads to a fob-based door & gate lock system. Once installed and programmed, we will be distributing two fobs per family. The need to upgrade our system has been discussed for many years and since so many of our current keypads were breaking the timing is now right. We didn’t want to continue to pay to repair and replace an outdated system.
Gates and Doors Impacted:
· Tennis court gates (2)
· Playground gate (1)
· Swimming pool gates (2)
· Entry to bathrooms at pool/clubhouse (1)
· Entry to storage room at pool/clubhouse (1)
· Main entrance to clubhouse (access granted only to those booking the clubhouse itself) (1)
Plan and Estimated Timing:
· Wolf Security will start installing the new fobs and supporting system starting next week. They estimate it will take 6 to 7 days weather permitting.
· Once installed, the HOA will then be trained on how to use the new software and then program the fobs for all 110 houses.
· The HOA will set a pick-up window for residents to collect their fobs at the clubhouse. It will most likely be either Saturday or Sunday, March 25th or 26th. The exact date and time block will be shared in advance.
Residents will continue to have access to amenities during this changeover period. The new system will only be activated once we distribute fobs to residents.
In case you are wondering:
· Yes, you can have more than two fobs per household but at an extra cost of $10 per fob.
· If you lose a fob, we will be able to deactivate it and replace the lost fob at a cost of $10 per fob. Please notify the HOA at this email address should you lose or misplace a fob so we can deactivate it. (hoa@foxworth.org)
·If you book the clubhouse, you will be able to access the facility using your fob. We can activate main clubhouse entry which avoids having to schedule meet ups to obtain and then return the key.
· Yes, we will be able to see who is using our amenities. We will only check if there has been an incident such as vandalism which needs to be followed up on. This is how we currently handle it with our camera system.
· Resident fobs may be deactivated if they have unpaid fees. This would be an action of last resort. Today, we currently block access to our website and amenity codes for those who have outstanding fees.
As mentioned above, we will send a firmer date/time for collecting you fobs once the system is fully set up. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
The Board approved placement of celebratory signs since we wish to support our residents desire to celebrate and share life events with our community. Placement of these signs will need ACC approval and should be removed after 14 days. Visit the ACC page for more information about the types of signs defined as celebratory and/or to submit a request.
Please note, we do not permit placement of any political signs, causal signs, or business signs.
